 What's new in version 1.07

Below is a list of all the improvements and bug fixes made in this release.  If you have any questions, please contact us .

  • Advanced perforation effects: The details of the casing perforation and the tunnel can now be modelled with the non-Darcy effects.

  • The program now models drop out of retrograde condensate.
  • Table improvements

  • Growth of gridding to edge.

  • Small length quantity (e.g. fracture width can be in inches or millimetres).
  • Retrograde condensate sat table default parameters

  • Double buffering - repeated re-draws are no longer apparent.

  • Optional frame. Entire window can be used for drawing.
  • Console window improvements:
  • Console window can stop program now.

  • Modifications for 2003.10 release of IMEX.
  • Check that BHP < reservoir pressure.
  • Retrograde condensate handling.
  • Excel button in fractures and perforations (+advanced).
  • Include the last few file names under the (File) button.
  • Multiple files in Batch facility from Browser.
  • Fracture flow fraction plotted.
  • Check restart that the fluid model has not changed.
  • Reinterpret spiky results by differentiating the cumulative.

    Bug fixes

  • Picking position discrepancy fixed.
  • Well block put equal to corrected perforation permeability
  • Zero all D-Factors works if you have defined a perforation D-Factor
  • Fix block redraw on digitizing boundary.
  • Deleting all fractures now resets the grid parameters
  • Trend table corrects illegal bottoms
  • Verticalization problems corrected
  • Scroll button on batch file list works
  • Fracture flow results reports flow from all fracture blocks not just the root block
  • Omissions in PVT import (TRES etc) now diagnosed compulsory to fix and Calc / Set PVT works with blank optional boxes
  • Well bore input is multi-line for flow property ranges
  • Assigned D-Factors work OK with beta
  • Small grid at end of perforation near edge bug corrected
  • Delete surplus tables when you delete a fracture
  • Frac region sat table deleted on deleting the last fracture
  • Click on header in table cancels editing.
  • Left-wing/right-wing confusion for inline fractures cleared up.
